We are pleased to welcome three new people to our Impact team.

Elizabeth Bruns brings more than 20 years of direct marketing and membership experience to her new role as Client Manager and Fundraising Writer. In her 15 years at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, she managed multi-channel fundraising campaigns, oversaw an inbound call center, directed the monthly sustainer program and supported planned giving marketing campaigns. Thanks, Elizabeth, for bringing your skills and experience to Impact.

Gosia Carter joins us as Impact’s new Administrative Coordinator, bringing her considerable organizational skills and “get it done” attitude to her role. She understands the challenges of the business environment having managed all the high-stakes details of the real estate business for many years. Gosia will oversee office operations and support Impact’s President and our entire team as we continue changing the world one story at a time. Welcome Gosia, we’re glad you’re here.

Lindsay Bingham joined us this month as our newest Client Manager and Fundraising Writer. During her five years at Episcopal High School, she fell in love with nonprofit communications while creating content for video, web, social, publications, newsletters and more. Prior to joining Impact, Lindsay managed marketing projects and developed content for corporate clients at Summit marketing agency. She is excited to bring her talents back to the nonprofit space and we are thrilled to have her.

Transitions

Saying goodbye is never easy. Over the past few months, some of our team members have moved on and we want to recognize the tremendous impact each team member has had during their tenure. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Jacqui Neal, who brought her talents and her deep blue Bison pride to Impact as our Director of Client Services and is now attending to personal and family issues. We want to congratulate Jamie Sargent for her new position as Director of Communications for DC International Charter School. Jamie played a pivotal role in growing the Annual Giving program at Howard University and made tremendous contributions to many clients — thank you Jamie! And we extend our tremendous thanks to Brandy Foote for her strong writing, thinking and planning skills that were a huge asset to our clients this past year. And to Jasmine Taylor, who made important contributions to our team.
