Nonprofit Storytelling: Comic Book Edition

World Central Kitchen took an innovative approach to their storytelling. . . packaging their accomplishments from the previous year not in an annual report, but in a fully illustrated comic book.

“Hurricanes, Hot Meals & Helicopters” shares stories from their relief efforts in the Bahamas, and demonstrates that, while we often rely on tried-and-true methods of storytelling, a strong organizational story can take many shapes in how it’s presented to your donors.

Personally, I’m hoping that the next case statement Impact writes can be formatted as a pop-up book. Or maybe a puppet show.
